The Devil
This card represents creative energy in its most material form; in the Zodiac, Capricornus occupies the Zenith. It is the most exalted of the signs; it is the goat leaping with lust upon the summits of earth. The sign is ruled by Saturn, who makes for selfhood and perpetuity. In this sign, Mars is
exalted, showing in its best form the fiery, material energy of creation. The card represents Pan Pangenetor, the All-Begetter. It is the Tree of Life as seen against a background of the exquisitely tenuous, complex, and fantastic forms of madness, the divine madness of spring, already foreseen in the meditative madness of winter; for the Sun turns northwards on entering this sign. The roots of the Tree are made transparent, in order to show the innumerable leapings of the sap; before it stands the Himalayan goat, with an eye in the centre of his forehead, representing the god Pan upon the highest and most secret mountains of the earth. His creative energy is veiled in the symbol of the Wand of the Chief Adept, crowned with the winged globe and the twin serpents of Horus and Osiris.

bin wieder einsam
ein, ein, ein
war tief drin
gemeinsam, mein.
reiches Kuchen

vom Innenleben,
starrt mich an,
ein Extrovertierten,
rundlich kurvierten,
blinzelndes Mädchen
wie blinzelnder Stern
wurd’ ausgelöscht
in meinem Himmel.

alone again.
lone, lone, lone.
was deep in it
Together. Mine.
rich cake.
cheeks.
wounds.
from inner life
an extrovert
stares at me,
curving round,
winking girl
like a winking star
was extinguished

there she lay.
it was her there, on the sand.
cupped by the warm sand, her brown skin slaked its thirst
on the gold sun and the wind exfoliated her limbs,
and something like scales fell from her eyes.
and she rose.
and was baptized*.
the soft sand again cupped her soft breasts,
and the sea turtles were confused,
and the lonely-hearted.
a brown bomb shell –
but a shell –
the intricate ignition inside had been tampered with, and, perhaps,
the explosives had already been detonated.
the heart. the soul. the love-light. all inflammable.

Page of Cups/ Princess of Cups
The Page of Cups represents the activity necessary to become a King of Cups! The Page is dynamically loving and demonstrates (unconsciously perhaps) how he/she likes to be
treated by others.
The only ‘problem’ with the Page is that loving is a two way street so the Page needs to learn to receive love also (for balance and nourishment).
I’ve also read:
also a young man who is unfortunate in love.In the Crowley Thoth Deck, it is a Princess, not a Page:
The character of the Princess is infinitely gracious. All sweetness, all voluptuousness, gentleness, kindness and tenderness are in her character. She lives in the world of Romance, in the perpetual dream of rapture. On a superficial examination she might be thought selfish and indolent, but this is a quite false impression; silently and effortlessly
she goes about her work.
In the Yi King, the earthy part of Water is represented by the 41st Hexagram, Sun. This means diminution, the dissolution of all solidity. People described by this card are very dependent on others, but at the same time helpful to them. Rarely, at the best, are they of individual importance. As helpmeets, they are unsurpassed.
Love. What the hell do you mean?
My great friend and mentor, Jeff Smith, once said “I wonder just what other people mean when they say ‘I love you. ‘ because it has nothing to do with what I mean when I say it. ”
I was in Japan, freshly broken (up). Jeff had been deeply in love with this girl, and se with him. Or so it seemed every time I saw them.
He got her pregnant (not so sure it was him ). She kept the baby and broke up with him, pretty quick. She put a restraining order on him , pretty quick. Her mom was a judge. At this juncture he said to me ” this makes me a sperm donor. We aren’t boyfriends anymore. Men are the sperm donor on the relationship.
How many times has the
Modern woman slapped a restraining order on her man? It’s pretty common. Oh and jot on the cases where it is truly necessary – those poor women never make it to he restraining order. No, it’s just an awesome mechanism for control, which makes a controller very happy.
What inspire supposed to feel like ? After the short stint of wonder, does it just become inconvenient.?
Sperm donor. Restraining order. Love is gotten weird.
Rock and roll
No matter how high they climb, all these Rick bands did not contribute. Rock ‘n’ Roll was imbibed with “badass” by the low brow. ACDC put the badass in. The Stones put the “ass shake” and the “fuck” into Rock and Roll.
Kings of Leon? Just beneficiaries. Fags of Leon, Kings of Fagdom.
Two of Wands
The pictorial representation is two Dorjes crossed. The Dorje is the Tibetan symbol of the thunderbolt, the emblem of celestial Power, but more in its destructive than its creative form.
More, that is, in its earlier rather than its later form. For destruction may be regarded as the first step in the creative process. The virgin ovum must be broken in order to fertilize it. Fear and repulsion are therefore the primary reaction to the assault. Then, with understanding of the complete plan, willing surrender rejoices to co-operate.
“For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.” AL. 1. 44.
Seven of Wands
A so it is, the Glory is done:
And like for all the Seven’s, the leaving of the beautiful Tiphareth comes like the fall from paradise.
But now it is time to fight. At least struggle (hence the name Valor)
So the Seven of Wands talks of a situation where we have to face up forces stronger than ourself, situations that at first sight seem hopeless, yet we’ll have to use all that we’ve learned and fight.
Of course, it’s not about fighting anyone. It’s myself I must fight. Or the infinite universe, whichever explanation of reality you choose. As Crowley says:
The army has been thrown into disorder; if victory is to be won, it will be by dint of individual valour – a “soldiers’ battle”.

Queen of Cups
Strange now, that several days after Queen of Swords, I find Queen of Cups:
The Queen of Cups represents water in water, she is the purest manifestation of the soul of the waters. Thus she represents pure emotion, passion, feeling, never influenced by judgement or purpose. She is loving and affectionated, a warm-hearted mother
and a tender friend, looking into the depths of the heart.
Crowley says of her:
The characteristics associated with this card are principally dreaminess, illusion and tranquillity. She is the perfect agent and patient, able to receive and transmit everything without herself being affected thereby. If ill-dignified, all these qualities are degraded.
~ Everything that passes through her is refracted and distorted. But, speaking generally, her characteristics depend mostly upon the influences which affect her.
Stark contrast to the Queen of Swords:
The person symbolized by this card should be intensely perceptive, a keen observer, a subtle interpreter, an intense individualist, swift and accurate at recording ideas; in action confident, in spirit gracious and just. Her movements will be graceful, and her ability in dancing and balancing exceptional.
If ill-dignified, these qualities will all be turned to unworthy purposes. She will be cruel, sly, deceitful and unreliable; in this way, very dangerous, on account of the superficial beauty and attractiveness which distinguish her.

treated by others.
she goes about her work.
and a tender friend, looking into the depths of the heart.
